Expansion board usage instructions
1. The power circuit of the expansion board adopts a 2A current design, which is limited by the PCI interface current limit (5V1A) for Raspberry Pi 5 and can provide an output of more than 3.3V1.5A to the solid-state drive.
2. Usually the rated current of SSDs can be 2.5A, 2.7A or even 3A, but these currents correspond to the limits of X4 mode
3. Since for Raspberry Pi 5 only supports X1 mode, the actual current used is much less than the rated current. Our design meets the needs of most hard drives.
Product introduction
for Raspberry Pi 5 motherboard has a built-in PCIE expansion interface. This product is suitable for PCIE external M.2 solid-state drive expansion.
